Here's another Car AIR Just finished.. Another Stock motor... This time a LS2 in a 2006 GTO. Under the hood is the stock LS2 w/blower camshaft, Maggie 1900 1.9L COG overdriven, 10 psi durring pull, 12 psi peak. E85 & Custom Fuel system, custom Speed Density Tune.
Put down 660 RWHP 760 RWTQ

Since then the owner moved to Virginia and had it retuned for sealevel. Car put down 707 RWHP and 600 RWTQ there with the new tune and converter Locked, here in Denver we didn't lock the converter thats why there is such a large difference in the TQ numbers, and the increase of the HP numbers...

Super cruise will depend on how I do at the drag racing earlier in the day. Many regulars are at C5 fest this weekend, so it could be a light turnout.

not sure what mods you have, but if it was me I would probably do headers + CAI and then do a tune. and yes I would recommend Clint too. he is a good guy.

I'm ordering some vinyl heritage stripes. Will see if I like the way they look for a while, and if so, I will get them painted on. Any suggestions on a shop to put these on (the vinyl)? Or if any of you have experience, is it something I would be able to do? Thanks in advance.

I put the stripes on my corvette this weekend and it wasn't to bad. I did it in the garage with the door shut so there was no wind or dust in the air. Also leave the dogs outside. Boarder collie hair and Grand Sport stripes don't mix. Just saying.

Use plenty of soapy water spray, and take your time. Best in a shaded area(preferably a garage). I installed a similar stripe on mine. I'll be @ the Sonic show this Friday if you wanna see..

I have a brand new never opened hockey stripe kit from GM part# 92215975 in black. This includes both side stripes, large single hood stripe and trunk stripe. I would the kit for $100.00 I was going to put these on my Zl1 but black stripes with the carbon fiber hood would not look right. Let me know if you are interested in the kit. Kris
