The reality of it is that he probably gave you the ticket because you're a regular offender. The question is why you were picked out of the bunch. Why you and not the lead car which, he should have done. Here in NJ, the prosecutor will offer "unsafe driving", which is a no point ticket but $400. I'm not too sure if that is offered in PA. If you go to court, your driving record will be looked at. You can try the profiling, in which case, it is arguable. Offer something that has no points to it. If you take a ticket that carries points, no matter what, only 2 will carry over into NJ.

Pay your fine and learn from it. You would think you would've learned before getting this one. It took my wife 2 tickets to finally learn how to use cruise control and keep it at the limit.

I was in cruise control lol. and for the only 2 points being transferred over to nj. I got 4 points transferred over last ticket. That one was bad...my little brother was in the hospital...so I was speeding and I Know i deserved that one..

A police officer can technically pull over who he chooses, but he pulled you over as the speeder knowingly that you were keeping up with the flow of traffic. If you were in PA, it could be argued that you were chosen because you were out of state, which is also profiling. How's your driving record over the past 3 years?
'Tints' are not 'completely legal' in PA.

Aside from the front windshield, I was always told that it was.

Nothing from the driver forward is technically legal. Windshield and front doors.

That's how it is in NJ too. I was always told by even NJ police that PA does allow full tinting, minus the windshield.

Totally incorrect. There's a percentage of block that is allowed and it's not very high. You'd have to look it up, but it is not 'Totally Legal' in PA.

To the kid that got the ticket, it sucks but you might as well just bite the bullet and pay it.

Live and learn, one of life's lessons......

I didn't read through all the posts but if you will get points on your license, go to court. Sometimes they will reduce or eliminate the points.

I was pulled over for going 23 over, trooper let me off with a "failure to obey" fine instead of speeding so no points, didn't go to court just paid it and learned my lesson.

I wasn't in the Camaro either, haha.
