Guilty...

Even at the Fest last year, with Randy... I can't repeat what he said in my car...

There have been several times since then I've thought, wow, is that all there is... hmmm,

I had a neighbor come by the house one day that knew nothing about the Mods... Professional FF... He wanted a ride...

Ok... We loaded up, drove around until everything was warm... I passed a truck and never got into boost, just a nice safe pass in a safe area...

He was like damn, this thing is a lot faster than I thought it would be...

So, on a long straight, I pushed on the gas... got it just about into boost, and he was climbing around looking for hand and foot holds, and when I thought he was ready to freak... I hammered on it hard... OMG, He Completely freaked...Looked like a cat on carpet trying to go somewhere fast...
Yeah,... It's still fast... i'm just catching up to the car... Now it's time for more powahhh.......

He told me right before I came out here he wants me to bring it by the station in Austin... No one there believes him...

So if we summarized the last 4 pages we could all agree that....ridiculously fast cars are fun right.

Bruce....I loved your wife's series of nicknames on the video when it arrived...one I thought was kinda cool and might stick....and that was Yeti.

Yeti sounds way more badderasser than SST.

My ridiculously useless thought of the day.

Well unfortunately we have a Tropical Storm/Depression going on here now so no fun runs or video for a while. :(

That's half the fun of cars like these. Seeing people's expression and giving them a little rush...

Yeah M, she kind of went off. That's what 3 years of seeing a mirage will do to you.

That is a pretty good thought. Is badderasser a sniglet?...lol

They argue over who sits in the BACK seat because whoever is there gets to strap in and hold on to the rollcage like a roller coaster ride at Universal Studios...

Of course the car makes all kinds of noises that I had to explain:
1) Turn key 'on' listen to A1000 pump prime and boost compressor fill
2) Wait a few seconds and start it
3) Wait 30 seconds to a minute to get out of open loop mode
4) Check DataLogger gauges, trans computer gauge and A/F gauge.
5) Put car in gear
6) Listen to intercooler pump kick on
7) Listen to cam smooth out as rpm approaches converter stall
8) Listen to the Eliminator pump prime the C-16 fuel anytime the TPS goes past about 40%
9) Push pedal just a little farther
10) Listen to turbos spool
11) Feel a little rush, smile
12) Let off and listen to dual blow off valves purge
13) Listen to turbos spool down
14) Check gauges
15) Hear engine fans kick on if temp climbs over 190
16) Hear transmission cooler fans kick on if tranny temp climbs over 185
17) Pull into parking lot
18) Turn off key
19) Listen to turbos spool down for 30 seconds
20) Get out and listen to the kids blab about the experience for the next 15 minutes. Priceless...

P.S. Yeah, you caught us. The rear tires have a little more wear on them than they did this morning.
Nice! You need some dry warm roads, hard to find any place, looks like the weather sucks in your neck of the woods too. I'd say smoke that set set off and get a new pair.:seesaw:

Enjoy!

Thanks D. The video cracks me up. I wish we filmed one during the kids ride. It would be hilarious. It just makes you smile.

Love the vids!

... maybe your next mod should be a hidden dash cam aimed at passengers just to get their reactions
