Windshield=10" vertical
mirror= 3 7/8" (that's almost 4") vertical
that means that the mirror is 38.75% the size of the vertical windshield...
it sure seems like the ratio could be better... just sayin....

I am over 600 miles and have not had this problem. I use Sunoco 94.

Mine does it too, but I'm not worried. As others have said, this is normal during break in. What does concern me a little is I hear not a whining, but a really high pitched squeaking between 2K-3K at times, and it sounds like its coming from somewhere in the clutch/tranny area. Sometimes it sounds like a light metal vibration, other times it sounds like a dry bearing spinning. It comes and it goes when it pleases. Its subtle, but there. I'm going to have it checked when I take it in for its next oil change.

Just sounds like the AC compressor turning on and off maybe.

Are you referring to my post, or a post above? My sound is definitely correlated with RPM and is present without the AC on. The best way to describe it is if I had tin can in my cup holder with a paper clip inside of it that resonates between 2K-3K.
