There are -some- salesmen/saleswomen that know their stuff. But they are definitely not the majority. I've worked in many different companies since 1984 in a variety of industries. As long as they get the sale & commission...that's really all most of them care about.

Heck, many of you know I traded in my Camaro recently. I was waiting for some paperwork with 2-3 other customers sitting around waiting. One saleman was at his desk, playing a training video on how to sell stuff. He wasn't using headphones or anything...the volume was LOUD. So we all got to listen to how a salesman could play the customer for the sale.

The other person sitting right near me looked at me...and we both shook our heads and chuckled.

My dealer called me about a month after I got mine and asked me to come in and look at all the new Camaros he has. I said I just got one from you about a month ago. he apologized and hung up. Seriously?
