There are some damn good sales people out there.

I must add that the ones that don't know their stuff (a majority) really don't try and learn the options. I did the car sales thing for a while... NO bueno...

Can't hate a snake for being a snake, think he was impersonal because of our last meeting he probably thought it was a dead sale. He was all cool when I came in today, he even cleaned my wheels and tires.

Not sure what they did, but they fixed everything I complained about the paint on the car and you can't tell, standard body shop practice tells me they had to touch up and reclear both bumpers and then some but I didn't ask.

And for being a pain in the ass and dragging this sale out for 20 days, I tipped him $100 and would gladly use him again, he listens and remembers.

Okay , glade that it end up been a good thing for you , and that's all one can expect , now just go out and drive this new car of yours , because before you know the winter will close in and the fun goes down for a good number of us .

There are -some- salesmen/saleswomen that know their stuff. But they are definitely not the majority. I've worked in many different companies since 1984 in a variety of industries. As long as they get the sale & commission...that's really all most of them care about.

Heck, many of you know I traded in my Camaro recently. I was waiting for some paperwork with 2-3 other customers sitting around waiting. One saleman was at his desk, playing a training video on how to sell stuff. He wasn't using headphones or anything...the volume was LOUD. So we all got to listen to how a salesman could play the customer for the sale.

The other person sitting right near me looked at me...and we both shook our heads and chuckled.

My dealer called me about a month after I got mine and asked me to come in and look at all the new Camaros he has. I said I just got one from you about a month ago. he apologized and hung up. Seriously?
