I rather think if there had been a Synergy Green 2LT RS on the lot the day I went tire-kickin I might have taken it home.

2ss = standard on all of the important options, so i didnt have much of a choice. The one thing i miss is the custom red leather interior i had that matched my vr body. That was a beauty, and unique. I have black on the 2ss now and it gets hot.

Because the 45th has EVERYTHING! I took a look at a ZL1 the other day at my dealer in Cape Cod and the 45th stitching looks so much better than the ZL1.

I love mine and my only regret is i took it straight in the #$% on the financing. 6.7% ouch!

Barebones LS with no options, so I guess if there was a 1LT then it would have been nice to have the connectivity package.

That said, I tend to prefer aftermarket to OEM, so I try to shy away from options that I may replace or can go bad. Why spend money on an option that I'll end up replacing?

As for aftermarket mods, I think I may come to regret only going with an 8.5" width rim, as it limits me to a 255 tire. When I can afford to go FI, I will likely need more meat to transfer power to the ground effectively at the back, and more meat in the front to get the most steering response. Till then I am fine and happy, so I guess I will worry about that when I get to that point.

I regret getting the 45th anniversary edition a little. It is impossible to keep clean as a daily driver (as opposed to my previous champagne Buick anyway). I knew black would be a pain, but since ABM was discontinued, there was nothing else I liked.

And now that 2013's are out, everyone will know that it is a year old even tho I've only had it a few months.

Really? I DD mine as well and it is usually clean. Even if it is a little dirty, it doesn't bother me. We live in roughly the same area.

Why does it bug you if someone knows that it is a year old? Who cares?

How do you hate the 45th?!?! If you don't like red, white, and blue stitching than you may very well be a terrorist.

I have seen tons of camaros driving around, but have yet to see another 45th in my adventures. Also having a special edition with a limited amount produced will up your resale value.

I use mine as a daily driver as well and yes it's hard to keep clean but CFM could be straight Black and be even harder. If Captain America drove a Camaro, he would drive the 45th.

I never said I hated the 45th. I bought it originally because I liked the way it looked.

There is construction dust everywhere around my work, and other places as well. Then add some occassional rain. Plus I have really hard water. Which means if I do not wash it every few days, it looks like crap. It also gets water spots all over it when I wash it in 90-100 degree temps. I didn't mind the first month or so when it was cooler out, but now the whole constant wash and water spots is getting really old. Can't take it to a car wash either being a convertible. The champagne Buick and aqua Lincoln don't show dirt, water spots, or streaks too much. It made cleaning less frequent and easier.

Top down the all black interior gets dirty really quick, and it is a pain to clean as well.

It just kinda sucks that 45th badge immediately identifies it as a year old, whereas a 2010 could still pass for brand new if it is well maintained. Since this is my first new car, I'd like it to be mistaken for the latest model as long as possible.

As for value, the 45th package isn't going to make much difference in the next 10 years. Maybe after it is an antique.
