Ues I used my factory DRL's I pulled them out of my SS bumper cover you need to remove them from the black plastic pieve so it's just the clear top case and white base.

This has me thinking now, I was thinking about getting a transmission cooler and put next to my oil cooler but I do not want to take off the bumper at all, will just taking off the lower grill give enough room to install it....

So after installing the fascia on my 2LT RS it seems there is just a small small gap between the hood and the fascia. Is that normal?

There's nothing better than working on a Camaro while listening to the baseball game especially if that game features the Arizona Diamondbacks. I remember that game. It was May 12th and the D-backs lost 2-5 to the Giants. San Francisco had Matt Cain on the mound and the first 15,000 fans in attendance received Ryan "Tatman" Roberts tattoo sleeves.

Did you put the 2 small filler parts back in? the one the plastic rivets are for?

That takes up the room, its may be still on your old bumper, and its part #33 on the OP

That would be perfect timing. I will be picking up my bumper and hood from body shop at end of day today, and putting it on tomorrow. I spent most of the afternoon chasing down some additional hardware that I did not have yet. Question: I have your adapter harness for the SS to ZL1 conversion, but did not get the ZL1 harness. I can't remember if I need both or just yours?? Also, I am short the little spacers (PN 22739732) that go between the top of the bumper underside and the body mounting point. Will this be an issue? They are less than a MM thick, so I am geussing that they are just anti-squeak protection. Thanks!

If you have the newest one you dont need the GM ZL1 fog/DRL harness.

I think he means right at the nose of the car? The hood cowl on the ZL1 fascia/hood are a little more defined/raised than SS and they run onto the fasica where as the SS fascia, the cowl stops on the tip of the hood. Unless you get ZL1 hood, there will be a small gap there. Trust me, only you notice it because it is your car and you're anal about it. I was so self conscious about the gap but none of my friends even noticed it until I pointed it out. It's all taken care of now that I have the hood and insert on.
