Carbon street- full carbon, but will bolt on your existing mounts and latch functions like OEM- Most expensive option

Gets my vote

I like it but I need to know 3 important things , first will there be a tray and a drain under the hood to prevent rain splash? second will there be an option of a fiberglass hood with carbon fiber center piece? third can it house a Maggie?

These won't come painted right? Anyone know how much it cost to paint the hood 2 toned?

I like his requests but I would like to have a ZL1 hood 2 rows of vents not 4

Thanks for the photoshop LoneStarCamaro. That is exactly what will be sitting over my engine if things go right! And the yellow hood looks sweet to!

.....and someone did mention group buy

I do not see any issues with it being used with a Maggie but this is the first hood and so far have only fit it to our SS here at the shop.

There should not be any worries of rain in the car. When it is moving, the air and water will be going out of the vents not in. The engine uses water tight connections and never had any issues in the rain with the race cars in the past. The main focus here is cooling and downforce. If you guys see a point, or a big interest in a water tray we can most certainly build that into the hood.

The first unit should be done in orange and black for the show. See you guys on Friday!
