I would do the jdp colorshift halos that you don't have to open the headlights on there colorshift and use the factory halos. There like less than 300 or if you want brightness and more show modes AAC has colorshift 2.0 system for like 280 plus remote it's a way harder install though. As far as HID AAC also has K temp upgrades most people go from. 4300 factory to 5000k(white), 6000k(white blue tint) or 8000k but that's blue. This install will be direct replacement. If I got the first part wrong on price please correct me.

I usually can install HID lights for other cars , i have done it for my previous cars, and my friends but for camaro it seems different.

I saw the AAC colorshift and they look nice !! how would the jdp halos work if you dont even have to open the headlights

They let you change the led with an RGB led and well to change the lights you open then balast and I believe it's under that the balast is the black round thing in the back of the projector.

I have the 2.0 colorshift halos there amazing and well the left over money I'd look into preformace because the stock v6 is a bit sluggish I know mine was. I'd do like portted Throttle body in the lower Rpms(150), Vararam(300) will pull you on the highway, the isolator from RX pulls hard and keeps intake manifold cool(150). Trifecta tune is the best(450) from Bad News Racing,

They are hard if you've never opened a headlight by putting it in an oven and then epoxying and redeeming with clamps and silicone. I've done it a couple of times so it's not to bad normally 6 hour install

No shops in metro detroit will touch them because they have to bake the lights and dont want to be responsible if the light messes up or leaks. I'm on the fence about the JDP but I will probably try those first for ease of install.
