I love that intake. The only thing I would do different is sand the plenums down with 600 grit and repaint it in a satin flat clear. It will give a more racy look. That's what I'm doing with my Katech carbon fiber valve covers. The shinning carbon looks a little to tuner for me. If it weren't for the fact that intake is for FI, I'd buy one. I know they make one with longer runners for NA but I like this one better. Simply Bitching looking! Can't wait to see it installed.

Ive seen your Katech valve covers, but no pics of it sanded down and cleared. would that give it a dry carbon look? never seen it done before so pics might be helpful!

btw.....soooooooo freakin jealous of your valve covers!!

Yes it would but you have to put a flatting agent into the clear to get the look.
For me, I like the look better than the shinning, it looks more racy and purposed built, the shinny look is more tuner for me.

Do you want to trade, LOL. Here is pic of the dry carbon look. Ring brothers are the builder is this car. They have some of the best looking carbon on their cars. I spoke with Mike yesterday "One of the two brothers" and he explained the process.

Here are my same valve covers. They were also sprayed but with a little less flattner in the clear than the hood scoop. So they have a semi flat look to them.

You are so confused. Better go back and read how you are putting a ZR1 hood on your Camaro....
