If I was keeping my Camaro, I wouldn't want another one. I think it's more fun to change up once in awhile.

Yes, some tuners have installed the 2010 PCM to get around the Chrysler PCM revolving lock code. Those cars do not have all of the 2011+ PCM features and are considered by many in the community to be hack jobs.

Mid 11's out of an aftermarket 392 FI car is a joke compared to what the 6.1's are doing modded.

OP, get the ZL1! Its just an overall better package. I'd stay away from the Mopars for now. Many, many issues going on.

Everybody is having problems right now. You only ever hear about the problems. The two supercharged 392's I've seen so far are far from hack jobs. Mid 11's is all he needs to beat a stock ZL1 and that was the question he ask. Like I said earlier. Some stock 392's are running what some ZL1's are running. You can't say that about a stock 6.1. I love the ZL1 and would buy one in a heart beat ,but the 392's are a great buy right now. The ZL1 is very hard to come by, and you will pay full price or more to own one.

Frankly between the ZL1 and the 2013 GT500, I think the GT500 is the better buy ,but they are damn near impossible to get too.

if they can sort out the tuning on the 10's and up, they should run as fast as mine. like archtaan said, some are overcoming the later models tuning by going with a 09' setup. high 10's on 11psi

It's the 11's and up that have the PC Locked. The 10's have no problem with tuning. They're still the 6.1.

Supposed to be an announcement at SEMA on what they are doing...wheter they are telling us to go pound salt or going to provide mopar tunes. Who knows....

I am by no means replacing my ECU. Read a few horror stories already and don't want to be one of those few. Plus the mileage is inevitable botched in your stock ECU from there on out.

I would love to get a tune on my charger...no doubt that would break me into the high 12's since stock mopar 11's have been seen running 13.2..........

Is the ZL1 stock? I think with the average times that we have been seeing for the ZL1 at the strip thus far, it would have it's hands full with a stock 392 automatic car, never mind a blown car.

Well I know 1st hand the 2010 SRT8 Challenger with a KB S/C 9-10lbs with et's of 11.2 will run around a ZL1 all day. So given that fact Im sure if the new 392s can be tuned(Dont know if they have the codes unlocked yet) and with a S/C the ZL1 is toast. Lets just all agree the ZL1 is not whats its cracked up to be in this modern muscle era.

Oh i see.

Supercharged 392 should have no trouble with a ZL1 in a straight line.

But the same can be said for Camaro SS. A blown Camaro SS should be running deep in the 11s (10s with supporting mods - wheels/tires/bolt ons).
