Best part of it for me was the BRZ dance. That there was a driver that knew s/he was outmatched and outgunned in this competition and was just having some fun being apart of things.

It was part of the best drivers competition, so it deserved to have fun in the drag race as well. Not too bad of a time for 200HP and 151TQ, but when the car only weighs just under 2,800 lbs that helps A LOT. That would be over 15 if it weighed as much as our Camaros.

EDIT....I thought it ran a 14.2...but I see it was 14.9. OK so it would have been 16 seconds with the same weight as our Camaros.

Tarmac not the best surface for drag times so didn't pay much attention to that. Fair fight for everyone though so the placing was fair(not considering the huge variance in prices)but the BRZ was taking a squirt gun to a shotgun fight.

The gt500 impresses again. Solid rear axles outdated heavy muscle car almost runs with a gtr and take very expensive super cars to beat it.

True, but unless they are just pulling times out of their rear ends, they times they reported are right on time with their best from independent testing. For instance...they got a 12.1 for the ZL1...which is pretty much as fast as she will do stock.

Actually I think they tend to just use times they achieved from other tests of these cars, and they just report them in this story.
