Becky. Thank You for all the info you have provided all of us. My dealer called me early this morning and told me to pick up the 2ss/rs black beast at 1:00 this afternoon. Finally here after ordering it June 30,2012. Thank you again for all you do!!!

I called Customer Service and they said the car is scheduled to be in Port Allen, LA by the end of the week. Big question mark about that being accurate.

Spoke with the dealer and he said the DBC said the car is loaded on a rail car & has an auto tag of hot, being a sold order. He said the invoice came in today & the shipping arrival date is 9/25. I hope it gets here sooner then that. Do you think it could take 2 weeks to get to Louisiana?

So tomorrow I'm hoping to get a 4200 from you that way I can contact the dealer for the rail car number and go from there.

It COULD take 2 weeks to get to LA, but 2 weeks to the
dealer is more likely. I'm sure they are being a little conservative.
Better to under promise and over deliver Once you
get the railcar #, that will certainly help

I read on here about the rail a lot......do they ALL go by rail and then just by truck for shorter distances? Or do some go by truck haul the whole way?

I believe there are SOME that go by truck, but
the vast majority go by rail. Your's will ship by rail to
VA.
