Thank you all for the advice. Unfortunately I can't change the mistakes I personally made, however I'm still trying to decide how to deal with the upcoming situation...
I would give up the freebies and give them a bad review with the survey. Since I would never walk in those doors again, and if you would have got the deal you were promised, you would be doing your own oil changes any way, I don't think you're out any of the freebies. IMO, give them the bad survey review and tell them you're going to do it. Let them stew for a while. If it means that much to them and they know you're going to give hem a bad review, who knows what they might come back and do.

Well as long as your happy that is the most important thing, but all that stuff was just swag laying around the dealership.

Oh, and check the fine print on the movie tickets, I won tickets once, and it was clearly stated that it could not be used on new releases on opening week, not on weekends, so basically I gave them away. Who on earth wants to go to a Wednesday matinee?

I'm still pissed. I'm still not happy but i at lease feel like they've done something to try and make it right now. I'm starting to believe that the two sales men that agreed to 38k out the door, (which included 3k in taxes and licensing) really didn't have the right to do what they did. After the check they cut me today, along with the other "this is all we can take off the price of the car" at the time i bought it, i paid 37,500 for the car not including the free movie passes, ski passes, ext....

PLEASE let me know if there is someone out there that got a better deal that that and i'll keep fighting. It's a 2013 2SS that has the touch screen and all that, RS package, the upgraded exhaust with the quad tips ($900 dollar sticker price extra), and the Hurst Short Throw Shifter ($350-ish sticker price upgrade). They have me convinced that after all that there is really no more they could take off. (plus they did give me the free movie passes, plus free food at the movies, plus the expensive Jazz and park city passes....

Long story short, i'm at least feeling a little better.

Did not read thru the entire thread.

Some advice:

1. - no matter what you are dealing with - always get a signed agreement. That's Law 101 (and common sense 101)

2. - Never lie. If the dealer is asking you to give them praise when they didn't perhaps deserve the praise, that's lying. We do not want dealers offering 'stuff' to get good grades..that's subverting the whole purpose of the satisfaction survey. (....I'd love to know who the dealer was via private message)

I understand you wanted the car were without, so you purchased it from them. That being said, there is no way I would have given them a penny after that. Should of bought your car elsewhere and told them to pound sand. Very unethical on there part.

I need to find out who manages your stock portfolio. Your returns are unreal. I thought $3000 for 60 months at 0% would be $3000.

Yeah.

And, dangle the survey (or a copy of it) in front of their faces and let them know that there are repercussions to screwing people.

You should give them a scathing review first of all. Secondly, you were taken advantage of DON'T let them feel they are doing a huge favour to you when they gave you the freebies. They should have done the right thing from the beginning and gave you the price you agreed verbally. This is the ol' classic bait-and-switch. A dealer should earn your business. They should make a "bid" for your business. Not tell you a story about how much they are losing on a car if they give it to you at that price. It's simple, if they can't do the deal; move on. I would have personally took a taxi home and called up a bunch of dealers in your area.

Good luck resolving this.

1. If you are happy now, then forget it, enjoy the car and move on, life is too short

2. As for the survey - if you decide to bomb them (which I probably would not bother - after all, you knowingly signed for the car at the higher price) you need to have a plan for where you will get your car serviced - that dealer will not exactly welcome you back.

3. See item #1

If you slam them in the survey, I wouldn't take my car there for service..........

What could they do? Probably nothing. But, you never know.
