Looking for a set of OEM door inserts & dash trim that is from a RS or SS that are clear painted from behind. Any color would be fine but would be great if you have yellow. Thank you

No. The ones I sold were from a LS that began grey textured not clear so you couldn't paint them from behind!

where are you guys ordering these kits from? i went to shopgmparts.com and the have kits in every color you can think of, only problem is, shipping to seattle is 175$. when i go to gmpartshouse and gmpartsdirect they dont have the kits. i would like to order some silver ones one of these days but i dont wanna pa 175-300$ in shipping!

I don't think shopchevyparts.com has them in stock. They can be ordered, but placed on back order like anywhere else.

OP - Good luck getting the clear plastic panels bc the stock SS trim seems to have a smoke tint to them while I've only seen the now non available accessory kits have the clear plastic. However it may be possible to use the stock SS trim, because the IOM trim on Inferno orange cars are tinted as well & the smoke colored tint really doesn't seem to take away from the color at all.

after doing a lil bit of research i found out that the kit for the "silver ice" interior has a new part number. so i managed to find the part number for that by looking up the old part number at shopchevyparts.com and then running it through the part number locator at gmpartshouse.com and then i found them even cheaper at gmpartsdirect.com.

but if the silver ones have a new part number im sure the others do as well

The question is, can you purchase them & they not be just a back order. gmpartshouse has made it clear that they are unavailable through them. Shopchevyparts will allow you to place the order but, be place on a back order list with no time table of when they will become available again. Think that's why the OP is looking for any trim w/ using clear plastic when I'd think he's probably looking something that will work with Yellow in specific. Only a wild guess though.
