Okay, pics of the new wheels. Got them from Discount Tire. Total of $814 bucks. I got VoxxMG3(23611) 18X8 5-120 40SML wheels. I'll try to post a couple of videos of these wheels later. I'm happy with the wheels. They look nice.

I've been pleasantly surprised at the sound of my stock radio. I may not have to upgrade it.

I've been so busy with work, I haven't had time to do hardly anything with my new car.:( I want to wax it, and look it over some. Learn how everything works. Right now I know how to turn the car on, and put it in drive, and that's about it. :(

Love the wheels, I was looking at those exact wheels for a drag setup.

I'm liking those wheels as well!! Lookin' good!!

Don't feel so bad about the not having enough time. I"m the same way, I work most of the day and then have 2 rugrats to take care of when I get home. My oldest is like a bloodhound and can sniff when I open the door to the garage and he gets into EVERYTHING!! I don't have much time to spend with her as I'd like. I try to take care of her as best I can though. Just had her washed, waxed, and detailed for this weekend!!

End of Summer Cruise
Sunday, September 23rd
Okay guys, This Sunday (September 23rd) we will be cruising with El Paso F-body through the Dona Ana back roads that lead from El Paso all the way to Old Mesilla for a nice Sunday cruise and luncheon. We will be meeting at Trans Mountain where we always gather in El Paso at 9am and then head out together to Bassett Place to meet El Paso F Body at 10am and then drive out from there. Louis is currently looking into Uno's to see about getting a discount for lunch there as they would like us to go over there a regulars like we have been doing with Hooters. More details and information will become available, but for right now we are trying to gather the troops to show the huge representation of Camaro5 for this event. Look at it this way, it will be the final cruise of the Summer season folks, so let's end the summer with a bang!

Begining of Fall Events:

How's everybody doing out there in the Camaro Community?! Great? ALLLLLLLLLRIGHT! Hope everything turns out for the better for Jerry as his 4th took a major hi...I guess you should have been there to know what I'm talking about .

Now off to the upcoming events. "More" you may be asking? Yes, more events are coming fast. Hey you guys all said that we should do more things right, well here we go.

We will park the cars, check out theother rides and either grab something outdie to eat or take a seat and order in at the restaurant. Afterwards, I myself am going to be heading to the El Paso Motorplex to some Drag Racing. Let me know if you are interested in that.

Sorry for the off-topic question, but I'm wondering how the citizens of Turkey are treating you.
We are hearing about all the protest going on over there in the middle east, concerning that film on the internet. Can you go off base to the bars, or do you have to stay on base for security reasons? Just wondering.

I'd be a little nervous about venturing off base myself.

Uhmmm, I'm wondering if PIANOMN or anyone else here knows of anybody here in El Paso, who is able to install footwell lighting in a 2013 camaro. I'm guessing installation would be the same for any 5th gen camaro? Southwest Speed wants $60 for the kit.

Mission Chevrolet wants $597 for kit and installation. Give me a break.

It is not bad here at all. The day of the protest we were not allowed off base for a few hours.. But that was the extent of it. I am adventurous and go pretty far downtown to get to the really good bars. I sing and play piano as well and I have not had a problem with the locals.. Really friendly people here!!

I am not sure I know anyone that knows the install in Cruces.. I can tell you that if you cruise to Albuquerque Ivan will hook you up with a free install if you buy from Southwest Speed That is the route I went.. Maybe Charlie would try it out? It is pretty simple, search out the DIY threads as well! Nothing feels better than buying something for the whip and putting it on yourself!

Had a great time on the cruise Sunday and so did Kyle. He posted up on facebook cursing us all for showing him a great time, and how it made him not want to sell his car. He still has to regardless, but it made it harder for him. He did say he might still come out with us but rent a Camaro for it. He said there was nothing like hanging out with a bunch of great ppl talking about cars all day, and hitting the open roads like we owned them!! Good job guys!!

Hells Yeah!!! I've seen DIYs on how it's done, and it does seem like a task but fun at the same time. I'd be totally down to spend a day to try and get those on with ya. I'll even bring down my tools.

Also, I can't wait till next week to get the new issue!
