I am personally working on it. My best is a 12.07 @ 120. I have a thread in this ZL1 section with my time slip.

But that said MN6 ZL1 will go 11.8's stock once someone is willing to slip out the clutch and abuse it.
Like I said above, I am working on at least a 11.95 to best GM's M6 time.

I am trying!!

I don't plan on waiting for a Gen 6. I am going to do it with this Gen 5 ZL1

edit....... and, I bet those 11 second ET's are going to come from skilled drivers who are NOT using any of the automated launch control features. They'll get those times the old fashion way
To get my 12.07, I had it all turned off and did the old fashioned way.

Lots of weight to be moving forward though. I've figured out how to run it in bracket racing as I won my class last week and the car is on the front page of Woodburn Dragstrip's webpage.

Congrats! My highest trap speed is a 121 @ 12.19

Yes he is.

Here's another bone stock run in the same ball park...

Both cars were using traction control. ZL1 is an auto pulling 1.7X on stock rubber.

Damn that thing left hard on stock tires....
Leaving that hard it should have been able to hold off the gt500 if it didn't go limp on the big end.

I think there are about four key things to an 11 sec 1/4 in a stock ZL1.

- weather

- track prep (Milan can be prepped to be very very sticky)

- car set up; raise the front tire pressure to 45, lower the rears to 20ish. Reduce weight... low fuel, no washer solvent, empty the trunk (inflator)....keep it cool in the lanes, cool the intake, hood open, push it in the staging lanes...

- a driver that doesn't own the car and is willing to abuse the hell out of the clutch and trans. Big burnout, high RPM clutch slipping launch, and gear slamming no lift shifts.

I think most people that own these cars aren't going to abuse the clutch and trans that hard, and will be more likely to see mid 12's.
