Property damage is a crime. My first call would have been to the police. Sounds like there is a buy back in the works, but that would only be a start for me. There were several crimes in that audio. Malicious property destruction, conspiracy to defraud.... I would want those idiots in hand cuffs.

Buy back? Not even a start. Get a good lawyer and they will pursue multiple times the value of the car in punitive damages.

Many dealerships are trusrtworthy. That being said, I just hope GM births and/or reinforces company policies that greatly reduce the chances of a similar situation from ever occurring again. Many people have old phones or other electronic devices capable of recording in the same fashion, so imho, the tide has shifted a tad bit in the customers favor.

Here we go, take it easy there boss. I appologized if it was already posted. I did a quick search and simply missed the other threads.

It's more like I felt bad for the owner of the car and figured spreading word about his issue sooner than later might help him successfully resolve his problem.
