Every single person I know (no exceptions) who has driven a manual to the point where they got comfortable with it now prefers it.

Also, you're free to think that I need my head examined, but I'm free to think that only girls drive automatic muscle cars
You want a war!? You got yourself a war. Automatic is smoother no matter how good you are at stick. As per your last line that only girls drive muscle cars is an arrogant, offensive, and just F'ing rude.

You do need your head examined after making a statement like that.

And yes, if the retired military person is driving a muscle car with an auto, I would jokingly refer to them as less than masculine for that. I like to joke around with people.
With disabled vets that need the automatic and admire it's USA construction and Camaro heritage?

I would definitely not make such a statement to a disabled person. I didn't notice you saying "disabled" before.

I like both but it depends on how you want to drive. I currently have both in the drive way. For the daily ride to and from work I like the auto. When you your feeling frisky the manual is a lot of fun to drive. I only have that feeling every once and awhile now(must be the age) so I choose the auto. Bottom line is whatever you like.

How many times are you going to insist in creating a war. This is the second thread that i've seen you do this to.
You should stick to the topic of the thread. This thread asked the question" Do you regret getting the auto trans" NOTHING about muscle cars. You were the first to bring that up in this thread. Go start your own war on your own thread. This one is not the place for it. I'm not a moderator but you don't need to bring it to this forum or any other if it's not the topic of the thread. Try to follow the rules of the forum, it's been a while but maybe the mods need to post a fresh notice about following the rules.

I was sticking to the topic until the A-hole up there had to make that post. So I am not in the wrong here. Just looking to chat with other folks who got Auto and why they did.

You were the first person to reply to the OP. Post #2. You brought up the issue. You do'nt need to bring it to every thread. Don't let other's comments get to you so much. Start your own thread if you want to have a war about what a muscle car is made of.

I don't want a war. You made the statement that people with my point of view need our heads examined. It's funny that you think my statement is offensive, but saying I need my head examined is not?

I almost passed on my car 2ssrs blk/blk sunroof.....because it was an auto....now that I have it I love it!!!

Paddle shifts are SSweet. When you want to shift manual you have it at a click. When you get into stop and go traffic ..click and you have an automatic!! It's nice.

Have to admit the sound of saying 426 hp would be nice....but most people cant not believe 400 hp!

I have 1600 miles on it now, and I do not regret getting auto... in fact I would order it now if I had to choose!!

Oh ya..I get 24 mpg on hiway 75mph w/ a/c on...that includes the stomp on it to get that guy off my a ss every 10 miles or so!

untill I drove it I was one of those "stick shift only guys"
