I am huge sports fan...I just about love all sports!!...I can watch an entire race....but going to the races are much more fun than watching on TV...especially with all of the pre-race activities....

I just hope it is just headaches and not vertigo like Craven had a few years ago that forced him out of the car.

As for Jr. leaving Nascar until someone else steps up with his fan base, I believe if he announced tomorrow he were leaving that Nascar Coporate would step in and try to work with him. Knowing it would at this time be their death nail. Considering the stands are not selling out anymore due to the economy and the boring races that Brain France has created.

Jr. got his bell rung in a tire testing crash @ Kansas City, just before Labor Day. Had he sat out 2 or 3 races after that, he would have never made the Chase...

'Dega was a "mild" event compared to KC, which caused a recurrance. He's doing the right thing, now...

Im pretty sure he was not cleared by the doctors to drive,so it wouldnt matter if he was leading, no clearance from the doc no drive.....

Talking about drivers who are Aholes, I remember a news article about Gordon walking along a cordoned walk, and a kid, maybe 5 years old ducked under with a pen and pad, and Gordon sort of pushed him saying get out of my way kid.....thats an Ahole

Not making the chase doesn't make them a looser. There were 30 others as well that didn't make it. The is and have been big name drivers not make it. Luck has a lot to do with it, and having stuff not break on you.

Ok, Gordon's an asshole! That's what I figured, a thread on Jr and Gordon's a asshole comes out. That's what get me! F it, not going there! What I think is funny is Jr is compared to the best, Jimmie, Stewart,Kenseth,and yes Gordon. Gimme a break. And the talk of Busch being a a hole, he'll yes he is but he's one of the best or the best wheel men out there,period. Everyone's an ahole one time or the other.S

Been a NASCAR fan for 30+ years and never liked Sr. I was there when he hit the wall and watched Jr. race back to the crash scene.

Been a Jr. fan from his start in ASA. Never understood the hatred some have had for him... I hated Sr. because he drove like an ass and wrecked people (some of my favorites at the time Terry Labonte & Darrel Waltrip), but it seems people hate Jr. because of his last name or not living up to his fathers success (grandpa Ralph wasn't all that great either)...
No one hates on Kerry - and he is as Charles Barkley would say "Turrible".
Maybe Jr.'s kid will be better... if he ever gets into women
