Yup... and more automatics in the real world as well. Those that have no interest in 5th gen forums as well as non-enthusiasts, non-mod'ers, etc. etc...

Sustained 35-40mph in 6th gear will get you real close to 30mpg. Keyword is sustained meaning, every red light will cause it to drop.

Most of my driving is highway. The V6 doesn't really have the oomf to go 1-4 it seems like it bogs the engine. I normally clutch in at 2700 rpm and hit 6 gear at 50.

ZL1s are V8. Why are they split off? If you're going to list ZL1 as an option, you should have worded the others LS/LT or SS or ZL1.

Most people recognize 3 classes, V6, V8 and ZL1 (Supercharged) no reason to get detailed into model classes within a powerplant norm. Plus the ZL1 owners like to be a class by themself... haha

I'm a supercharged V8 that's closer to ZL1 than V8 (SS).. You've got two engine cylinder count designations and one trim level, so do those of us with aftermarket FI cars get to vote ZL1 since we've got a blown V8? |

no, I have a blown V6 and I am not a production car either, your V8 is a production car, not a ZL1. Mods have nothing to do with the poll. What did you start with..

LS, LT, SS, ZL1 -or- LLT, LFX, LS3, L99, LSA <-- That would make more sense, if your goal (read down some from OP) is to get a sticky to have more performance options since the options vary based on the engine. V6 and V8 are too generic -- ZL1 at least only has 1 engine option regardless of transmission and year. |
