I can only speak for my car and the answer is no. I've never had any contact with the tires and any body parts. Even with 1.44 60's. Don't ask me how they never meet but somehow they don't.

Before I had the correct suspension setup I actually did rip the rear bumper skin entirely off on a launch but thank goodness my parachute held it on. It only popped the clips loose but did put a small tear by the rear taillight but I am getting a new skin this winter as I need to paint new hood and trunk lid as well. With the correct suspension and correct wheel offset it will not be an issue.

Wayyyyy fewer launches than this guy, but mine have never touched anything. Like SuperCharged SS said, it's all in the suspension and offset of the wheels...

damn jamie.... starting crap.. lol .. i know roberts car is gonna blow my mph completely away.. i am out there to have fun and run the car hard.. i know my setup cant break any records so i hope another camaro5 member does.

No issues at all here.. I run the full PFADT suspension with the DSS 9" IRS conversion. The car squats hard on launch and just goes!
