Hello all, what tire size do you recommend in front and in back? I am assuming that the back needs to be 30 as well?

Whats going on I have a quick question about my camaro and the dash board lighting up due to my tire sizes. To make sure, I need to have the back tires to be 285 30 22 instead of the 285 35 22 correct.

Yes. You should be good to go with 285/30/22. Read this thread, it should help make sense of all this. You may also want to check the tire manufacturers website to make sure their measurements are ok.

Hello everyone, I talked to the tire shop that put on my rims and tires, they said they could not refund me the tires I bought bc they have already been driven on. My question to you all is, instead of buying two new tires for the back, could I take it to the dealership and have them change the specs on my computer to avoid buying new tires? Im worried if I do this, the dealer would say I voided the warranty. Please any advice would be grateful!!!

Unless YOU specified what size tires you wanted on your car, the shop is at fault here. You should ask for the manager and be prepared to fight for the correct size. Its their job, not yours...

I don't believe the .5 inch difference matters at least not in my case, I have Pirelli Rosso's 245/40-20 27.7 in tall front and 295/40-20 29.2 in tall rear with no problems.

Well its supposed to be .5 from the stock tire height which is 28.7, so you're rears are right on the money. Your fronts are .5 too much but perhaps its only monitored on the rear tires?

And to the OP. No, dealer won't change settings. Don't even think they really can.
