Completely normal in all modern cars... You set the COLD IDLE to be high in order to quickly bring the catalytic converters up to operating temp.

Mine does It. But let me ask you guys this since I'm in Florida. At cold start after two minutes it makes a knocking noise coming from what sounds the rear passenger side like exhaust or something then lies speeds up gets faint and goes away. Weather I am moving or sitting still. Anyone? Of course even last year with leaving at dealer over night for cold start didn't do it lol. Help. Please

First clip I've seen of a 2013 V6 with dual mode exhaust:

It was posted in the LFX section but doesn't seem to be getting much attention much to my surprise so I'm re-posting here. Sounds good from the inside. I've asked for more clips!

They are BBK LT Headers, with 2 Magnaflow resonators into SLP Loudmouth 1's. Approx, 1200

Added to first post:

Pype Bomb axle back
This is really more of a muffler delete, but the tips of this system are long and resonated to help control rasp over a traditional muffler delete:
Look for videos throughout this thread starting on page 2:

Its normal cars have been doing this since the 50s with the automatic choke. Back in the day you would let it fast idle then kick it down with a quick blip of the throttle.

Ok I'm new to this forum. Just picked up my first camaro. 2011 RS vert. Love driving it in the black hills in South Dakota but moving to better weather in April to SoCal.

Anyway I been looking at exhaust and I'm kinda feeling the borla axle back exhaust. Maybe my patience ain't letting me but I can't find any good clips for the v6. Only SS and up.

Would anybody have any experience or know of how they sound on the V6. Almost at that point of just buying it already just cuz now.

It is listed on the first post. Below is a link. The first vid on the page is of an SS, but some of the others are the Borla on a V6. Not sure if axle-back or cat-back though.
