Same. When mine was brand new, it did it a lot. Now its just occasionally and its nothing ear piercing.

And yes, these are the most dusty brakes I've ever owned. The odd thing is the rear is way worse than the front. Don't the front's do most the work? On my previous vehicles the rears were always cleaner.

Negative ghost rider, I've seen it countless times on here. I have a 2011 and mine squeak as well. Like stated above, not all the time but often.

Sounds like an economical soft solution to try first

I changed my diff fluid out at 1500 miles and because of the many, many post on here saying to do this(figure 8s), I did. No noise.
Awesome tip man...thanks!!!

I would give it a little time though. Around your mileage mine were much worse. They got better after a while.

Don't worry. some good advise up above. Positraction acts that way sometimes, it may be that. I think its called adding friction modifier to the rear end oil. Driving in slow figure eights in a lot will work it in if needed. Also. the ceramic, GM is good, pads are good advise as well. I've been through it with lots of muscle cars and Vetts. So far no problem with either Camaro.

Its your pads that are making the brake noise and dust. Semi-met pads make lots of brake dust and tend to make noise. Replacing them with Ceramic pads will fix the issues. Semi-mets are better for high performance, thus why Im guessing they were chosen for the camaro. Ceramics make very little dust and very little noise but dont perform as well in high performance situations IE: on a track, on a superchargered or performance modified car.
