Trunk.... or hatch??
Hey there everyone...
Been lurking the site for awhile now and finally have a question, lol... I am sure this has probably been answered already, but does anyone know for sure if we finally get a dedicated trunk in the 5th Gen, or is it still a hatch?? Slave One |

Hopefully a big one too, I got to have somewhere to put all of the Jaws I find laying next to my car in parking lots.
And also for my system I have lined up so I can make immense noise even when the engine is off

Saw in in the G8 GT the other day...again, very impressive car. In the trunk is exactly what I'm hoping for!

A trunk is the right call in this day and age. I plan on waiting for the Vert (maybe even into year 2), which just about mandates the trunk anyway. But a good call for the hardtop as well. Never have been a fan of the hatch style in the past.

An "actual" trunk is a good call. I just remember how my 4th gens "trunk" was more like a small pit with some holders for the t-tops.

The hatch looked great on the 4th gens, but all that glass was hard to keep cool here in Phoenix. You could fit a lot in it though if you put down the back seats. I took a Christmas tree home in it once.

Thats why the wife is keeping her truck.. we will always have at least one. Thankfuly the next vehicle she wants is also a truck!
PS.. yea the heat is killer here and the more glass you have the worse it can get.
