Have installed many kooks headers on fifth gens and NEVER HAD to remove anything else but the plugs, dip stick and of course the stick manifolds as well.
So YES YOU are wrong. Conclusion = FAIL.

With my 2" primaries, I had to remove the steering shaft, I'm not sure whether all of the Stainless Works headers require that to be removed or not. They fit really well, and have had zero issues thus far, sounds good too!

Thanks for all the replys. To be honest ice only done two sets of headers, I have jba on my 01 496ci suburban, but they got cut up when I did the turbo kits a few years ago. The Corvette has a set of hooker headers that went on back in the 90s but my choices where very limited with it being a side pipe car.
I'm in va so I don't want it to be crazy loud or have any problems at inspection time. |
