Your NUMBER is the last set if digits of your VIN Number.

The last 6 digits of your VIN list the production sequence number.
Example: Vin Number 2G1FT1EW1A9000033 or 2-G-1-FT-1-E-W-1-A-9-000033 - 2010 Camaro #33!

Pretty sure Camaro VINs are not sequential. They are mixed in with other GM brands.

Keep in mind that the sequence numbers start over again for every production year. The "A" in your VIN is for the model year 2010 Also, as Fiveg56 posted it looks like the sequence numbers are used for other models at the same production facility. But in reading the link he posted, it looks like 2010 model year they were Camaro specific.
