Unhappy Esurance dropped me... Any suggestions?

Much to my surprise, Esurance has just declined to insure my 2013 ZL1. They signed me up originally at about $480/6 months and I had no worries for 2 months. Then said they will not insure the ZL1, their letter says "ZL1 Chevrolet Camaro does not meet Underwriting guidelines". I am 52 and have not made any auto insurance claims for decades & have 880 credit score - none of my low risk matters. Went with Esurance because their rates were $200 to $400 less than most others - including my State Farm policy with home and several other cars...

Is anyone else in Texas having problems with Esurance??

Any other insurance company recommendations? (USAA not an option, my Dad was a WWII Vet but passed recently)

Strange also that they didn't have the ZL1 in their system in August, so was insured as a BOSS 302!! Won't see responses until later this evening but would sincerely appreciate any ideas/options ya'll can recommend - my baby is stuck in the garage until I can get coverage!!

Thanks in advance!!

I could be wrong, but I believe you would still qualify for USAA.

I believe that even If your father passed (you have my condolences) you still qualify for USAA. I would look into it...

explore the Corvette Museum Insurance. By insuring all four cars with them, we'll be able to add on the ZL1 (4th car) for an additional 376.00 per year. And as a son of a vet you do qualify for USAA. Haggerty has no issues with ZL1's as well.

You know how insurance companies are. For no reason they will decide they do not want to insure something just because. I have Amica and pay about $850 a year but 4th car so that probably helps.

Also not being critical but as far as I know the credit scores only go to 849.

760 - 849 Excellent score. The lender will offer you their best interest rate.

I have allstate, full coverage with a $0 deductible for comprehensive and I pay $120/6 months. This is with the assumption that I wouldn't drive it more than 6k miles a year.
