I've tested this with an inline glass filter on the outlet side of the can. The RX is as close to 100% as you can get. During the testing I saw no evidence of any oil getting pulled through. The two others I tested showed pull through very quickly. That said even the lesser efficient cans did catch oil, they just were able to catch all.

I'd rather not say specifically. One was one of those EBay style cans with the stainless mesh in the top where the inlet and outlet were very close together, bad for pull through. And the other a very popular unit with enthusiasts and some really nice people at the helm. Theirs was a nicely made unit and customer service that was very helpful, when I wanted to modify theirs to see if I could get it to decrease the pull through.

So there are a number of benefits from installing one. Quote:
You can test any can easily by spending $8-12 on a clear glass inline fuel filter and installing it between the cans outlet and the intake manifold vacuum barb. You will see in a short time how well any can does, or does not work as far as oil pull through. And even a beer can with 2 fittings will catch oil. The RX can to date is the only one that shows no, or nearly no oil pull-through in testing, but some are very close and do a great job as mentioned above and since they do there is no reason to not consider those listed above as well. |

Will the Rx can fit a 2013 SS? It lists as 2010-2012. Thanks.

the cleaner the manifold the more power you will make and less chance of detonation. def not a bad thing. If you have any questions please let me know. I have great deals on catch cans
