You could always go to harbor freight and buy one of those 6' shop fans and when he starts his mower Put it out beside your Camaro pointed at his yard and blow that crap right back at him.

Plotting is what I did > Long but true story:
Back when I was a teenager living at home I bought a brand new Impala SS conv that I had to park in the street most times. Many times I found dog pee on my left rear tire/wheel. One day I see a old lady walking her dog on a leash stop near my car. I run out of the house and sure enough there's fresh pee running down the same wheel. I confronted her and she said something like "It's only a car, It will get dirty anyway", etc".
Without her knowing I followed her home to see where she lived. It was just around the corner from my parents house. In a couple of days at about 2 AM I walked over with a friend and we did LIKEWISE ( ) on her front door and ran like hell..... lol.
I never found dog pee on my SS again.

I had seen him raking and thought he was sweeping them in the street ,( Which would not do any good because the last pick-up was a week ago!) I walk outside on Thanksgiving trying to cook my Turkey and this guy now is right next to my Camaro and was filling his lawn mower up again with gas , I said to him tryng to not get in to a Hatfield / McCoys fued, Why are you mowing your leaves? He replies in his hippie green way, " It is natural fertilazer for the lawn" , uughh I said hmmm never heard of that the rest of us sweep them on the street and the city takes them , He mubbled something ,and i replied , "You are planning on mulching all these leaves and twigs 3 feet from my Camaro? He said yah , I said "How about you knock on my door next time and let me know i really would be mad if i got a bunch of stratches on my car from sh@@ flying all over it , and so much for my wash job that lasted 1 hour ,the car now has a thick layer of dust all over it. I told him to hold off and let me park my car on the street so that it is safe, I was so mad i walked away and had to move 3 cars .To let this guy finish , I have not spoken with him since , I really want to give him a real piece of my mind as i didnt want to get into it with him on Thanksgiving Day with Family and Friends . I am still fuming on this as now the temps have dropped and i have not washed the car yet and still have to look at that dust. UUGGHH!!!
Any Advice and what would you guys do?
My story:
We have a one car wide and maybe a 2 car (tight) long driveway... So we got a paving company to expand it. 3 feet to the right (towards my house) and then 2.5 on the other side (neighbor). Town says 6 inches off the property line. So we are. They were digging the trench for the block. Neighbor comes out excuse me you are on my property you cant do that. The workers back fill and move the trench to the original width of the driveway. Mom was at work and dad had to go for a funeral (hes a funeral director). So neither had time to deal with it. Well my dAd confronts her. They each get their surveys out. She was holding upside down. We have a property stake on the otherside and it is 60ft wide by 100ft lot. So my bro and i measured and we were in the clear for the wider driveway. Problem was the neighbor did not go to us she wemt to our workers directly

The whole point of my post is that I do not know whether the user cornerspeed92 owns his/her Camaro outright.

According the logic of some people on this board, I should have bought a ZL1 a long time ago. I can "afford the payments." Heck, I can "afford the payments" on a ZR1. If you would like to continue this conversation further, I would be happy to do so over PM.
You dont have to come here and insult people, this is a respectable forum and we want to keep it that way.

For being on these forums, driving an 08' Maxima and dreaming of a Camaro when one is nothing more than affordable monthly payments away. For 0% or extremely low interest rates.

in my last house I had a similar asshat. He would fire up his lawn mower as I was washing my car, and never used a catch basket, so I would have grass all over a wet car.

we had a few "conversations" over it. He also drove a company van with a welding rig on a trailer behind it, and 9 of 10 times when he parked it in front of his house would block part of my driveway. I had it towed 11 times in 7 years for that, we have a city ordinance against parking in front of a driveway entrance.

When we bought this new house this year, one of the things we looked for was separated driveways, I do not share a driveway on either side.

We are lucky now, all of our immediate neighbors are very respectful, cool people, and several are major car guys, so much respect to each other when dealing with freshly washed vehicles, I have been advised of their use of leaf blowers and the like every time, so I can move the cars away while they are doing it.

Now the neighbor behind my back yard, well that is a whole other story.. But he is also behind my west side neighbors yard, and that neighbor happens to be a County Sheriff, so the guy behind us has been put into check several times for his and his kids "behavior" They like to hope the 10 foot wall into our yards, he has had stuff stolen from his garage, and they have raided my BBQ island fridge for beer.. We both have cameras back their now, and have both prosecuted them, being he is a Sheriff, the local PD reacted very well, with just my complaint no so much.

good luck with the house seaching , I am buying my house use to have great people next door. Just make sure your gaarage is big enough. Mine was built in 1938 small as hell I do have a carport attached to it. Thought that would be ok , thought wrong uugghh

To me, I see this whole thing as being a bit silly. Should your neighbor do his mulching so close to you? I don't know. How big is the lawn? Would it be reasonable for your neighbor to do his mulching at some other place on his property? How much of an inconvenience would that be for him? How much of an inconvenience would it be for you to buy a car cover?

As for the whole baseball issue, that is a different story entirely. I would guess that if everyone involved has enough insurance, that shouldn't be a problem. However, if you have already had documented damage to the car, I would come after him with any and all available means.

I guess at the end of the day though, if I were in your shoes and had so much of a problem with your neighbor and potential damage to your car, I might simply find a new spot to park. You could move your car to a different point on your property, build an enclosure, or just move if it is that big of a deal for you.

Just guessing, but do you live in a subdivision? If so, is there a home owner's association? Maybe that would be a good solution for you.

In my opinion, it is lame, stupid, and ignorant to hold a $40k car note. Note that I am not singling out anyone in particular.
Camaro dreamer , A bit silly? wtf? no it is not "silly" you just dont get it do you?, In fact i bet you are "that guy" , Find a new spot to park? It is a single driveway . It is against the law to park in the front yard , NOR SHOULD I HAVE TO IT IS MY FREAKN DRIVEWAY, And when green-freak is mulching his sticks and leaves 3 feet from my Camaro i call that disrespectful. What kind of idiot is next to a brand new shiny car throwing crap all over it and doesnt think , Hey maybe i should not do this next to my neighbor's nice new car? Think about that,. It is freakn common sense. No i do not live in a "home association".No i am not going to move from a house that i have raised my children and all the memories that went along with it, Not to mention Green-freak just moved here 2 years ago , . You are way off base , It is call repecting your neighbors property and having some common sense.
