The themes look absolutely hideous. The two that weren't posted that is, the posted ones get a B. They need someone with brains to design their UI's. it's unfortunate that the Corvette will be getting this load of crap infotainment system. I hope it will at least get something reasonable. MyLink looks like an old version of Winamp with voice commands.

Have you seen the current version? I think this looks a lot better. Just my opinion.

Not to be a jerk, but I hope you're not in marketing.

Anyways... That picture on the first page, the steering wheel looks horrible lol

I'm not in anything. And what I said is true. Nobody's targeting that segment anymore.

If memory serves....they even made a conscious EFFORT to "anti-age" Buick and Cadillac. They didn't necessarily want to stop the old people from buying...but they wanted to get a lot more young men and women into their cars, am I right?

Very much so.

When Bob Lutz started his last tenure at GM, Buick had all kinds of projects tailored specifically for the elderly. He ended up canceling all of them. Now Buick has one of the highest conquest rates in the industry, high ATPs, and a strong overseas presence. And is one of GM's most profitable divisions.

As for Cadillac...well it's pretty obvious how big of a change they've made. And in a little over a year every Cadillac will have been updated or redesigned.

Just as Lincoln is now trying to do.

+1

I have it too and think it needs a serious upgrade. Better than to '12 radio IMHO but needs to be better. The AD2P Bluetooth functions are horribly slow and disconnect way too frenqently with the phone. I use a Galaxy Note with ICS and JB, Iphone 4, 4S and a 5 all with iOS 6 and all do the same thing. This new Mylink looks like it will be better but it will need to be a whole new level better to compete with Sync.

Have you used the Sync system?

Played with it while test driving an Explorer with the wife. She's trying to decide whether to get 2013 Equinox (she has a 2011) or get an Explorer. Sync was lot more responsive than Mylink in the 2012 Equinox we test drove earlier, and Sync never dropped our phones ever. The Mylink in my Camaro constantly drops the bluetooth whenever I use it for music streaming, but less so when I use Pandora or Stitcher. If I stream my music though it will drop the phone if I change songs too quickly, and is all time giving the wrong info for what song is playing. I gave up and just plugged in a dedicated USB drive to it and went that way. I never had that problem with the Explorer, though I will qualify that with I didn't have it for a week like I've had the Camaro. I am also assuming the 2013 Equinox is the same as the '12 too, but I haven't driven them and played with them yet. The Mylink in the '13 may be upgraded from what I have and what the '12 was.

I was just curious. I haven't used it, yet, myself...Sync, that is. I spent some time playing with the MyLink system when we were driving the 1LEs just before the Fest.

I asked because I hadn't used it - but have heard that people don't seem too thrilled about it.
