Santa came early.. jre cam and headers!

Just received my jre rough idle blower cam kit, melling oil pump, new timing chain, and Dynatech LT w/ cats and sct tuner. Can't wait to put em on!! Thinking of going with synergy motorsports or blu808 don't know which yet, but quick question. To data log my car for jannetty's tune do I data log right now when it's stock and send that or wait till they install everything and then datalog? I have no laptop so is it possible to do it with just the sct itself? ThanksName: image.jpg

You upload your stock tune with the sct, send it to Ted then he sends it back, upload that to car, after everything is installed you datalog it and carry on from there.

You wait till after it's done. All SS's should give roughly the same data when stock. Ted should have sent you a "start up" tune to get you up and running on the new setup. Then you datalog with your SCT to see what your car is doing with the new setup. I think he'll have you do certain things during your test drive to get the data points he needs. You send that datalog file back to Ted and he adjusts the tune based off the data. It may take a few back and forth emails but he should get you dialed in pretty quick. He does this with blower installs as well.

Did you order all your parts including your tuner thru JRE? If so he most likely sent you a tune for all those mods. After the install is when you'll need to data log and email him the info thru your SCT. Or you can get a custom dyno tune.

Here you go. Ted needs your stock file to tune. After the install if you think something could be better or something is amiss then datalog it and email that file to Ted.

my only question is to why you purchased a SCT tuner with a cam upgrade?

you will need a dyno tune unless you are installing yourself?
