Cai with scoop seems to be the best. Personally I like the adm race intake but it's not cheap

No plastic, all aluminum. Very good quality.

If you buy another brand you should ask about error codes because I know several people have had problems with some intakes.

Have SLPs blackwing cai and everything went together smooth except for one small bracket that held it in place could have been designed much better than it was, unfortunately I had problems with mine sucking water as it sat in the front bumper. My recommendation is not to go cai that goes into the bumper, keep them up high and dry or it could cost you a pretty penny. Otherwise it made the car sound awesome and I noticed gains, and the washer bottle replacement looks much better than stock

I've heard that the vararam puts out pretty good numbers, but its also a pain in the butt to install. I went with Cold Air Inductions intake with Apex scoop (similar to ADM scoop) and washer bottle relocation kit. It hasn't thrown any codes, engines sounds amazing now, and power is good too. You don't need to get a tune after every mod, that would be extremely pricey. If you plan on finishing your exhaust with some LTH, then I would wait with a tune until you get them installed. As far as people expecting their CAI to get them better gas mileage...well, come on people get your foot out of that accelorator

LSR Performance has some great gains with the CAI/Tune

We have several dyno charts to show the gains ... and how impressive the unit is.

I have a 2013 2SS with dual mode exhaust and have installed a Cold Air Inductions CAI. After installing the CAI my car did sound louder and my city MPG improved 2 MPG.

Fastlane seems to be the best in the results yet nobody ever mentions they have one
