Vararam makes big claims of out-performing all the others. I had a CAI Inc on my 1LT and had no complaints, but no significant difference in performance either (I guess that might be considered a complaint). My gas mileage did not improve as they claimed it would.

I've only had the SS a few days and have only looked a Vararam, so far.

Let me add that I do like the look of the CAI best and there were certainly no negatives about it on my V6. AND... I have heard that the 6.2L engines (vice 3.6L) gain more in power, sound, and mpgs. Again - just hearsay - not user experience.

What negatives have you heard for Vararam? I was trying to decide between CAI and Vararam a few weeks ago for my 1LT and the only negative I could find for Vararam was having to mod the radiator brackets on the 1LT. I ended up going with Vararam based on my research and comments/threads and so far have been very happy.

That was very helpful bajamoon, so the CAI with ADM scoop and fastlane are the best according the this test, but has anyone test vararam?

I have a G5CR, I like the looks of it. It didn't throw any codes to the cars computer. I've heard some of the intakes create error codes in the cars computer. The install was super easy and the intake is very high quality.

Shouldn't you tune the car after every modification in the car?
