GM Order Status Event Codes

Thanks for the info!!! It was only accepted by GM as an order last I knew so I'm assuming it will be a while yet. When it comes to striping I was told that the dealer would be putting the decal stripes on. I wasn't all that excited about that or even that they are decals. I am going to be getting them painted on and clear coated by a custom paint shop for almost $100 less than purchasing the decals. Thanks again for the info, it is greatly appreciated.

I bounced from shipped to intermediate and back into 4B00. I am guessing that is similar to earlier posts about stripping or other options not done at Oshawa. Anyone else bouncing back and forth?

Your car will prob just show up in transit in the computer.. that would be a good thing..

and is says 2030 = Re-Editing.

What does Re-Editing Mean???
Did they change something with my order?

i just got the same basic email. i ordered on june 2 or 3. emailed today to get my order number and event code and that's what i was told "2030"

i emailed him back to ask what was edited? my only thought is something was ordered that was constrained, but i didn't order the short throw or the high wing (don't want either). when i find out what they changed, i'll let you know. but anyone else have any thoughts?

Well I got to sit in my black beauty today, dealer pulled it up on the porch (right next to a red Z06!) to keep it safe until I can pick it up tomorrow.

What I find strange is that, while I ordered on Jan 15th (before prices were released), there is no R6P on the window sticker.

Has this happened to anyone else who early ordered?

Anyone got a theory as to why?

Any idea how I may be able to get a window sticker that says Early Order Activity?

Obviously the most important thing is that I finally have my Camaro SS after a 6-month wait, but I really did want that R6P, too.

1100 (original order date): 1.15.09
3000 (accepted to production): 5.5.09
3400 (broadcast): 6.5.09
3800 (produced): 6.9.09
4000/4B00 (available to ship/bayed): 6.9.09
4200 (shipped): 6.9.09
4300 (intermediate, may be multiple): 6.16.09
5000 (at dealer): 6.16.09

The ONLY reason I know of that would make that happen is your dealer didn't actually place your order into the system until after SORP on March 16th.

When did you get your WORKBENCH printout; as in when did you go to Event Code 1100?

Event code 1100 was Jan 15th, even got the special letter with my order number and the red Camaro artwork...I was the 9th car ordered which I assume is outside allocation, but GM definately recognized my order as early order activity.

i went to 3400 on sat. the 13th, with a TPW of monday the 15th...can anyone give an educated guess on a delivery timeframe to the midwest?

My educated guess, and only a guess, is that your car will be delivered to your dealer by the week of July 13th. That's based on what I've seen as a week to 10 day build time from going to 3400, then a few days in QC (ALL cars go through a final QC check), then shipping to the midwest.

Don't know about the Mid-West but here in lower Alabama, I got mine delivered 13 days after it was built. However, Pink has still not seen hers and it's closing in on a month after build. So it varies greatly.
