Bajamoon you're absolutely correct, I've been collecting SS badges from different manufactures for the 1st gens and prefer the Classic Industries '69 version. I started using the SS badges very early on, as you know the only issue with the stock grill you need the grill insert. Since I installed the heritage grill I thought I would stay with the '69 SS, but then I bit the bullet and went with the new font SS badges, I purchased my from CamaroCollection.com I believe they're the same as Camaro Central they're expensive, the front grill SS fits perfect it has slot which fits the Heritage and SS badge for the rear panel is also perfect fit.

VR looks great, I really like your recent mods the whole package looks nice. The good thing with the heritage you can switch badges.

The badges on his car look like they belong. From the SS to the Camaro in first gen script. I thought it looked nice in pictures....it looks better in person. He also did his own painting for most of the under hood bits.

Cheap if you knew the work it takes to mill these pieces let alone the time!! Better then a cheap piece of plastic out of a mold..

I would agree as my dad owned a machine shop. The badges from classic industries are at least metal and not that cheap plastic slp uses

yep, machining is the main part of the cost. But still costly and they have to make a huge markup like all parts to make it worth while, sure not selling these in bulk .

For retro styled SS emblems I personally prefer the flatter adhesive backed urethane SLP ones... They look like something a "modern" camaro could have from the factory, yet give a nod to the earlier generation. A thick, cast potmetal emblem looks cool on a '69 Camaro, but a little clunky on a 5th Gen. JMO of course.
