Another thing what is bulldog calling white trash.
All of the aftermarket products in the engine bay pics are Roto-fab products. The air intake system is being tested at Vector Motorsports now. We are anxiously awaiting the final results!

Prices are still in the works. The base air intake will have a black plastic tube, black silicone hoses and an oiled filter. The stainless steel polished tube, colored silicone hoses and the dry filter you see pictured will be available as options. The base intake will produce the best gains; however, some like the dry filter better and some like the chrome & color look!

Our goal with our Camaro line is to offer quality parts that perform well and have an appearance that fits the owner's tastes. When you bought your car, you were able to choose from a variety of colors and options-we want to give you some variety to choose from under the hood too.

Nothing that we've ever noticed or any customer has ever pointed out. We have been making similar covers for the Corvette (LS2,3 &7) and the G8 for well over a year. Feedback has been very good. Nearly every customer says the product looks even better in person than in pics. We have done many different colors and paint schemes in the past, but I think Camaro owners will come up with the best combinations we've seen yet. Thanks for your question.

How long are you thinking before you are able to get these into production?

With the G8, we developed a CAI for the V6 with good power gains. In addition, the sound of it is awesome! We plan to do the same for the Camaro; however, we need to finish all of the projects we have in the works now

I agree with other folks - looks good - but would like to see some other graphic options
Here's a custom look that's a little less "flashy"...To answer more questions about the air intake system, I have inlcuded a pic looking down in the heat shield area with the filter removed. The lower area mounts using the factory grommet your stock air box engages. We have designed the lower area to clear the A/C lines and seal to the frame rail using foam weather stripping. On the top side, the stock stud is used for mounting. The top area uses a hood seal with a bulb to mate to the hood. As you can see, our shield effectively isolates the filter from the hot engine/radiator air. In addition, our duct mounting system allows the duct to pass through the shield without voids or open space for hot air to enter the filter.

Who manufactured the filter? I'm just curious and have you had any CEL issues? I appreciate your time!

No check engine light after 1 week on the car. I believe it was driven about 400 miles. We use S & B filters for our oiled version and we are currently finishing testing on the dry filters.

FYI, last week, Vector Motorsports dyno tested our 2010 Camaro prototype air intake after running another aftermarket intake on the test vehicle. VMS contacted us during their testing because they weren't satisfied with the results they getting. We sent them our prototype which arrived at their facility the next day.

In back to back testing, our intake picked up 10HP over the aftermarket intake the car came in with. That was just changing from one to the other with no other changes. Needless to say, we were very pleased with the results!

There is more testing to come with our intake, but here's what I think is important for Camaro owners to know-
VMS has been an excellent dealer for us with our G8 products. Aside from that, we don't have any affiliation with their company. We didn't pay them to test our intake, nor did we do anything for them in exchange for a positive review. As a tuner, I'm sure they want to use products that will perform well and satisfy their customers. As a manufacturer, we're glad it appears our intake will fill that need!
