Was looking for a Cyber Grey RS/SS with a sunroof for my wife at the end of '11, found out the color was discontinued. Went to a different Chevy dealer just hoping they had more of a selection as far as RS/SS and there stood a Cyber Grey RS/SS with a sunroof in automatic that they had greatly reduced. I pretended to not like it and they marked it down even more! Lol. Turns out this is my new every day car since it isn't roomy enough for my wife, son and my soon to be born daughter. She got a new suv and I got a Camaro. Automatic is not that bad at all .

Exactly, couldn't see buying a sports car and not getting all the power I could.

I personally like Stick but if I was going to any type of drag racing I could see how a auto is more beneficial for your times.

When it comes to a Camaro, no one really cares one way or another... They are too busy picking their jaws off the floor when they see it roll by...

I don't think most are being serious and even then a lot of the guys here have built a rapport with one another so some of the comments can seem like chest thumping bravado but that really isn't their intention.

A lot of times I see comments carried over from other threads as an inside joke to so posts on a forum can be misleading if you follow my meaning.

Served in the military for 23 years. Nine of them overseas.....damn I feel less of a man because I bought an auto. What the hell was I thinking? Seriously.....I bought what I wanted. It's that simple. Enjoy your ride!

Sure you don't feel like less of a man because you were Air Force? I kid, former Army here, thanks for your service.

Got the stick so that no one can ask to borrow my car.

I got the stick for 2 reasons:
1. I like having the choice of gear and the fun of shifting.
2. Wife cannot drive a manual transmission car and she drives really bad.
