Have to agree here. I too have a converted Auto and love it! They are both great choices but with what you are describing I'd go with an Auto. And ignore the whole "Be a man" crap about buying a Manual. My daughter, who is 21 races my car at the drags and beats plenty of "Manly men" in their manuals.
It's all personal choice and what's practical. Go Auto!

Auto.. daily driver in traffic... all needs to be auto.
enjoy driving it. even in traffic. I would be pissed if i had a manual trans in some of the traffic here in so cal..hell i'd probably have gotten into an accident by now. but that also accounts for the amount of skill. if you can do it and don't mind doing it daily. do it. other wise. if you question it in the back of your head. don't. |

I had the auto 1SS then traded for a 1SS manual, my car is my DD and I drive in Los Angeles traffic to and from work. I still don't regret going from the A6 to the M6, I like the LS3 engine as opposed to the L99 - just my personal preference.

In all fairness, the Auto wasn't available during those test. The auto was basically last minute decision.

I've driven a manual for 6 or 7 years in stop and go traffic. It's no big deal to me.

People with auto brag about being able to use manual mode...
But, People with manuals bitch about auto mode (Skip shift). Go figure |

But, We don't all draw the line between what constitutes an acceptable level of automation and what isn't in the same place. I doubt that left to our individual selves we ever will. Norm |
