I've seen a 10.7 stock with tires 10.3 and for the GTR people have said 10.8 but i haven't seen anything lower than 11.0 which is still excellent by any means I'm just saying its very hard to overcome a vehicle that has a huge power to weight ratio and nice big tires in the rear stock even when it has AWD


edit: just found out the ZR1 has gone 10.664 at 132.90 completely stock not even tires

Takes much less that you think...Spin are you done. I've run GTR's before and watch them kill lots of high horsepower cars.

GTR until after the 1/4 mile mark, then it's downhill for it from there. That thing (any year model, but especially newer models) is a beast on a straight line.

I think if you could hook the Camaro perfect then you could keep up at least but 4 tires hooking beats 2 spinning all day. The Camaro plays catch-up really quick after the line though but maybe not to win at 1/4. But what do I know? I drive a little V6 lol

well yes i know if the driver blows it im just talking pure machine with say equal drivers. now in the real world with not so good of drivers yea the GTR wins more times than none from a dead stop since it hooks and books

your forgetting a stock gtr traps 120+ its not a regular awd car that dies after 100 it keeps pulling it seems ike most camaros with just a tt kit run mid 11s at 123ish so it still might not even pull on a gtr

Well regardless, its amazing how a 6 cylinder, 3829 lb, 545 hp beats many, 8, 10 or maybe even 12? cylinder, 600+ hp, ~2200 lb in the 1/4 mile. Although most of it is due to the 4 wheel drive. Hopefully it's a wake up call to all those other exotic cars.

The GTR was still faster. The fact that it lost due to a bad launch doesn't change that. Winning a race != Faster car/driver

It could have been giving the hit to the ZL and just incorrectly gave too much head start.

From a roll, TT might have a chance, need either sick driver or an auto. Would have a decent shot on a track too. From a dig though, I'll pretty much always have my cash on the GTR.

I can say this if both have a limit of 80k, a Camaro can run 9s, GTR will run 11s.

AWD is good up to certain point, eventually the thing bogs down at the line. There is a reason that none of the real fast quarter cars are AWD, RWD that hooks will romp on AWD. Same thing with road courses, fast cars are RWD.

As for Corvette vs. GTR; the fastest Corvette is in the 6s GTR is in the 7s. Read it and weep.

one will be stock still have a warranty and be a supercar
