I happened to see this on my Facebook page just this morning...

"Hi, my names chelsea & im a resident from splendora, texas. Im sure you have all heard of this but a few days ago a friend of ours was driving a silver camaro going at a high rate of speed past a cop, & knowing the police officer was behind him he decided to run instead. He eventually was stopped and arrested. Hes now doing his time, that he earned himself. But what I want everyone to know is this Montgomery County Police Reporter. Last night I seen his story on this page, and read the horrific, crude, & inappropriate comments underneath it. This boy is 17 years old, & has had a rough life, he no longer has it parents, & his grandparents received the honor of raising him. Because of the reporter and selfish individuals on that page our town now knows his personal business and whereabouts. Let me just ask you guys something, everyone make mistakes and everyone learns from their mistakes but would you want your life story and personal life posted a...ll over the internet for society too see? How would you feel if your grandparents were just trying to give you that life because of the hurt & heartache you have been through & people were calling them trashy, horrible role models, or saying they don't know how to raise a child? This 17 year old boy has respect, he just made a dumb mistake, that doesnt give people the right to plaster their business all over a facebook page.
I myself commented on the story stating to the reporter, "I thought this facebook page was to warn residents and others of the criminals in our area, not bash them". & his response to me was "I created this page, I know what its for, & ive been in law enforcement since before your daddy put your mama in the backseat of a car". Now tell me how crude is that? How inappropriate is that? What im trying to say is someone help me get the right to have the montgomery county police reporter deleted. Its ruining peoples lifes. His grandparents now have to live with his actions but they shouldnt be talked about or stared down when they go into town. I personally know both of the reporters names and have pictures of the comments. This horrible mess&person that has to be stopped somehow."

hmm all I can think is..

boo hoo someone call the WAAAAABULANCE.

If you don't want your personal information plastered on Facebook or any other internet media site, then you shouldn't have an account.

I don't, never have never will.

As long as you are going to put yourself out there, then do something stupid that endangers the public, you have to expect some rebuttle.

The kid flucked up, now has to live with his mistake, apparently he didn't learn the first time, maybe now he will. But I doubt it, because it appears everyone is trying to pass off the responsibility to his parents, grandparents, the reporters, and anyone else they can.

I have two words for this chick:

PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY.....

GET SOME!

"having a rough life" is always an excuse used by some people, its a way to place the blame on everyone else but yourself "its always someone elses fault"

i was raised by my grandmother, my mother is an alcoholic and hardly ever had anything to do with me, ive never seen my father and couldnt tell you who he is, my grandfather died when i was 5, so ive never had a father figure in my life. even so,ive never tried to put a sob story on people so that they will feel sorry for me and ive never went through life with my head up my ass with blatant disregard for other people and their safety. just because you havent had a picture perfect life doesnt mean you have to act like an idiot. yes some people make mistakes and learn from them, but some people go through life thinking that everyone owes them something and never learn anything.

So, she's criticizing people for putting his personal business out there, yet she brings up his dead parents as an excuse. She also calls driving at speeds excessive of 120 MPH and evading police as a mistake? I guess it's the same as, you know, mistaking the 1% for Vitamin D milk.

I hate people like her, they write off excuses for dumbass brats because she watches too much Dr. Phil.

And people wonder why I say every kid is going to grow up a total *****.

RESPECT

Again, this kid has already been ticketed for exceeding 120mpg before. He has a chance to learn his lesson and didn't/

Teenagers now a-days think they're so victimized and it's because we have a culture that loves underdogs. All the music they listen to, the movies they watch, they all have some kind of underdog story to them.

I had a pretty rough life, some people had it worse than me, other's didn't. But it wasn't my perfect little excuse to be some dips#it teenager. This thread/story is the reason some of the under 18 forum members get flak for having their cars.

This really doesn't make sense, but I get what this person was trying to say ...

Boy has respect? I can tell by the way he posted "Patton village cops, just give up."

Real respectful to officers. Real respectful to the passengers pleading with him to stop. Real respectful to innocent people that shared the road with him (good feeling to be able to put that in past tense).

I love the "What'd you do now lol" comment. Yeah he's a little jackass getting known for being a little jackass. Tough titty.

I just feel so bad that the kid can't go through the local Taco Bell drive through without getting dirty looks now. We should petition to have mean old Montgomery County dismantle their evil bashing website!!! Not.

And what that cop said to you Chelsea, pretty funny sh*t

Man it's late. I'm singing off.

My point is that not all 17 year olds are irresponsible. Some deserve a nice car and can appreciate the opportunity to enjoy a reward for their achievements.
And some people drop out of Harvard and change the world with social media.
