If you have stripes or are going to get them, I would make them match the stripes.

Not as must heritage as you think. The ones on my 69 Camaro were blue. I'm not sure when Chevy change them to Gold.

You can't be serious. Chevy didn't start making them all gold until the mid 2000's. They have had MANY different styles and colors over the years. Most of the real classics are BLUE and many actually said Chevrolet inside them.

I love the old fashioned blue center with silver or white trim. Having said that mine are
Black centers and white trim to match my black car with white stripes.

I say if you have stripes match the stripes , if not match color of car.
