Honda needs to put that stuff in to distract people from realizing what the car looks like and how it performs.

I am really upset that my Camaro can't park itself. Really GM you screwed it up again.
But it does transform into an autobot at night.

No matter what they offer, someone won't like it.
take the new Mylink radio in the 2013's. It now has all the connectivity you need, but now people complain because it doesn't have a CD player. |

Do you really think those items were Free? To keep the price the same they either cut their profit margin or the cheapened up the car in some other area.. Only logical way they could do it.

No one asked for them to remove the CD player from it in th first place. CDs are still in use today. Sure sales has gone down I'm sure from physical to digital. In my opinion they should have transitioned it to be phased out. I wouldn't have suspected it to happen to the 5th Gen though. Nothing is better then CD quality.

Exactly. Everything you add in as standard drives the price up. I only managed to get an SS because I got a compledtely stripped down 1ss. I even made them find a manual to save me $3000. The auto was still too much for me.

I ain't but 22 years old and remember when CD players were a luxury option in vehicles.
I have a camaro, 1SS, it has myLink and it's all I want, I don't NEED any of it. It's nice to have. Once I get my exhaust put on the radio may never even come on...

They don't offer a CD player, but do offer AUX, Bluetooth audio, and USB. Me being a tech person that's all I need. I don't use CDs anymore. Now if I could get a vinyl record player put in place of the back seat, I wouldn't mind that. I use Bluetooth all the time though to stream my music now. I have a ton of songs on my iPhone.

ah, i remember those days...the 90's. when you would bring your portable cd player into your car, with the cassette tape adaptor and either aux or cigerette lighter adapter, and have wires everywhere, so you could listen to your favorite CD. lmao

Before I bought my 2010 2SS, I looked at the Porsche Cayman. Every damn thing on that car is an option. I would had to get a $2000 sound system to have the USB interface that was standard on my Camaro.

They did not cheapen the care. Better in every way..interior, economy and performance...no hot rod, but no slower either. By the way, I had an 09 Fit...I traded it off, and got more than I paid for it new. Anyone done that with a GM car lately? Again, for those illiterate ones, it is about using 60's marketing techniques against the new century standards.
