W.C. actually allows a few more modifications than the GA cars and they have changed a few of the rules this year from the first year the cars ran.....not a lot but a few .

Any experience with StopTech pads on street cars? Not thrilled with the HPS pads...

Depends on use. StopTech is making a good street pad now. Hawk HPS pads are not bad either.

If you still have them, heck even the OEM pads would work for daily driving.

I have the CTS-V calipers so I had to get new pads. I'm just not feeling the love with HPS pads. There's no bite and I have to really lay into them, to the point the ABS kicks in. It's all or nothing with them... I recently sanded down the rotors and tried re-bedding them per Hawk's instructions, but they didn't feel any different...

Edit: I primarily do a lot of canyon driving. And I mean, a lot...

I guess it's inflation then plus newly allowed upgrades. We bought two Camaros back in late 2009 to run Grand Am in 2010. Paid $175k each IIRC. Back then you couldn't start with a white body.....you started with a full SS model and broke it down.

I run a StopTech BBK with their high performance street pad. I like them and it works pretty good at the PDX's I go to at MSR.

Going testing today for the first shake down.

As you can see the paint is not finished yet, but we should have some great data back from the car by the end of the day!

Typically you can build a current series legal car for $190-225,000 depending on options.

We will be at St Pete racing on the weekend of the 22nd of March. Two races. One on Saturday and one on Sunday.

We will keep you updated.

THEN--we will be taking orders for these. Any engine option so you can race any series if SCCA World Challenge class is not where you want to race.

The car, with no driver and no fuel weighs in at 3075. World Challenge requires the car to weigh 3400 pounds with driver so we will have some lead in this car.

Price for a complete World Challenge spec car is $169,000 just in case you are interested.

We can build them to any spec that you want. The first one cost us more than that but there was some R&D costs that we incurred along the way.

If you live in Florida, California, Texas or Detroit area, check out the World Challenge schedule and come and see us at the race track.

My guys are working on a sign up and a drawing to pick one of you as "Crew for a Day". The winner will get a Pit pass for each of our races to come in and give us a hand at the track,

Anthony will get the specifics and details up soon. First race, St Pete Florida coming up soon,.

See you at the races!!

Thanks for the support

Lou Gigliotti
