I had a serious problem with my 2012 Camaro 2SS. I was driving on the hwy about 75mph....AND all of a sudden my display says "Reduced Power" my engine light comes on, my ABS turns off and I have absolutely no power and had to pull over along side of the hwy. The motor was running very rough...not on all cylinders. Luckily I had my Diablo Predator tuner in the car and I hooked it up and the following DTC failures showed. 1-Crank case sensor, 2-Throttle pedal sensor and 3-Voltage sensor B circuit/open. I reprogrammed the computer and erased the codes and it started right up. However, I started driving again and when I went to pass someone with slight accelleration it happened again. AGAIN! I had to pull over along side of the hwy and reset the DTC codes. I had to baby the throttle in order to make it home. I have no clue what the hell is going on with my car... I am taking it to the dealership tomorrow! Monday, July 16th to get it checked out.. Hopefully I will make it to the dealership without any problems. I use only 93 octane fuel and last fill up was at mobile gas station... Any one have any problems like this before???? Please let me know.

Geez...I hope its bad gas in my case. I put gas while they were filling up the tanks...or at least I saw the gas truck there.

The same thing happened to me. I posted about it last week. Engine stalled on the interstate while we were doing 75. Didn't notice a "reduced power" warning though. The dealer replaced both fuel sending units. That's all they knew to do. We still don't know for sure what caused the engine to shut off. It about got us killed.

Had this happen yet again yesterday...was just shifting up to second when suddenly I had reduced engine power and lost stibilitrack control. Took it to the dealer and they said bad ECM. They had to keep the car over night. Dealer replaced the ECM so let's hope its fixed.

I got the EXACT same Error Message/Code from ONSTAR

Hello EVERYONE - First, thanks for all the good info posted on this thread regarding the FUEL RAIL SENSOR. The exact same thing happened to me yesterday, as I was returning to my office after lunch. I had just fueled up at ONE of only TWO stations I use(bad gas, not the issue). I went through ONSTAR for the immediate diagnostic, results were the same. The fuel rail sensor through an error causing the display messege - ENGINE POWER REDUCED(probably the worst three words you can say to a Camaro5 owner, eh?). Next, spoke w/ Service @ the dealership, set up the appt. I am about to go to. I will update you on what latest info I get from the Powers that Be.

I had that problem and took it to the dealership. They replaced my Throttle body and so far no problems.
