And that mapping is ALL done in the software of the ecu !!

also it makes NO sence to switch off the knock control ... because thats an engine safety feature that we dont want to miss !

A lot of what you said is way above my head. But just to verify, the knock sensors are working and functional on the tunes for both the LLT and LFX ecu?

The dyno run was 12.6:1 most of the way, dipped to 12.2:1 at 4800-5000RPMs, then went to 12.9:1 all the way up top. With the DI motors you can definitely leave them on the leaner side vs. the traditional style injected motors.

When I am back at home Tuesday I will post the dyno sheet with the AFR on it.
Thats what I wanted to hear, like those numbers. Thank you sir! Now I got a knock on my door

Pretty sweet - nice work Matt and IPF!

What makes me the happiest is that it was on a LLT!

I was looking at getting this supercharger kit for my car, and I was wondering if there anyone that can install the package here. Or whether it is something that I could tackle myself? From what I have seen so far, it seems pretty technical. Although I am a pretty mechanical guy I just want to right info before I dive in.

Well I am just not sure if it is something that I should attempt myself, or if it is just worth it having someone who knows what they are doing to work on it... I would like to save the money from labour, but it can also come to a cost if it is not really worth doing myself in the end.

I am sorry but I am unsure of this Jesse that you are speaking of. But it would be great if I could have a copy of the instructions before purchasing, would definitely help me make my decision.

I have instructions on a thumb drive. I can copy them and send it to you. PM me an address.

Read them over. I think by the time you get through them a couple of times, you'll be ready to do it yourself. I did it and I sell floor covering for a living.

With that said, what tools are absolutely necessary for a proper install? Anything specialized?

Basic hand tools. A Dremel tool comes in handy. You might need an o-ring selection in case the power steering fluid return line doesn't fit snugly (I have a whole box from Harbor Freight that cost something like ten dollars). Nut drivers would help for hose clamps and a couple of self-tapping screws. Metric Allen wrenches/sockets. Torx bits.

Nothing really specialized.
