Don't particularly care for it. The beauty of the 1LE is the low price, why make it marginally better for a lot more cash?

As Chase said you can do the same mods yourself for a lot less money, with no labor being paid to the dealership.

But the reason they do this is because some people want a different looking car right off the show room floor without having to search for the mods themselves. Guaranteed if they had this car sitting directly beside the normal 1LE or even a 2SS, they will sell it without an issue.

This is why I bought the 2SS Hot Wheels Edition. Unique car right from GM.

Looks awesome! I love special editions like this. I never cared for the look of the Airaid, cartoonish logo, long tube, doest look as clean as most of the others.

But the black out stuff and the badging is cool. I really like the hood, dont think ive seen it before

Considering you can get a 1SS 1LE for $35k, it's not so bad. In retrospect by Berger releasing this version it gives owners the chance to buy one already done up. Most 1LE owners want the ZL1/Dusk/Hot Wheels rockers on their ride and possibly the heritage grille. I can't speak for the Hash marks, painted hood, and other mods they've featured. There options are rather expensive, which members can obtain for cheaper.

MSRP for a base ZL1 is $54,350. So it's $5,460 less. I do applaud Berger in there efforts but realistically your better off with a ZL1. Nice ride though. While I don't agree with the price I do however love the SEMA style hood with the hash marks.

"• Berger-signature blacked-out rear panel with matching black taillight surrounds"

I really like the looks of the blacked out rear panel and surrounds.

They don't say anything about the blacked out mirrors but show it in the pic. I think they should leave them body-colored.
