Unless your compression is higher, if not I don't see a need to go to a hotter plug. Just my opinion.

You also may want to look at better plug wires like the Granatelli 0 ohm wires for a good spark.

I don't see a need to buy such expensive wires, MSD will do just fine. It's not a wire issue.
