I like it on luxury cars and even sports luxury, but not new sports/GT cars.

Like most other pre reveal photos I think we need to wait and see it in context. You are looking at a 2 foot section of a refresh. It's nothing more than a tease to evoke some emotion and thought to build excitement for another week.

Take a 3.6 L, add two turbos (20 pounds each), add an aluminium radiator for a CAC (10 pounds) and then lets add 2 gallons of coolant (guessing on the abount but that's 16 pounds. The last time I got press materials beforehand was VIR/ZL1...since then, everything has been handed to us in person if we were invited...or emailed at midnight the night before...I think you're absolutely right.
